An assistant felony prosecutor for Dallas County was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning.
The assistant prosecutor was arrested after he drove into a house and then continued to drive forward, according to witnesses. One witness had to break a car window with a hammer, lean in and shift the car into neutral, then take the keys out of the ignition in order to stop the prosecutor from attempting to drive forward anymore.
When police arrived, the driver had bloodshot eyes and was having problems walking. An open bottle of vodka was found in the vehicle.
