Over the past weekend, one of the Dallas County assistant district attorneys has pulled over and arrested for a DWI. Thomas Gatlin was arrested late Saturday evening because of a DWI. Witnesses said that he had crashed his car into his neighbor’s brick home. The neighbor came out to see what was going on and had to break his window to turn the car off and to reach the driver.
Rob Stanley, Gatlin’s neighbor, said that when he tried to talk to him, Gatlin didn’t know who he was or anything about himself. The neighbor also told police that when he went to get Gatlin out of the car, he saw an empty bottle of Smirnoff lying on the ground.
Early Tuesday morning, Gatlin officially resigned his position as Dallas County Assistant District Attorney because of his Dallas DWI over the weekend. There is no word on what his BAC level was when the police arrived on the scene Saturday evening. After speaking with his Dallas DWI Lawyer, Gatlin refused to comment to any press on the situation that had happened.
