A teenager in Yuma, Arizona recently was charged with driving under the influence and various misdemeanor charges following an accident in which his white truck hit a parked car. The parked car was hit with enough force to push it over the curb, across the lawn, and into the house.
The police department has asked the prosecutors to charge the teen with two felonies and nine misdemeanors. The flonies are aggravated driving under the influence and criminal damage. The misdemeanors are: driving under the influence with blood alcohol content of .08 or more; driving under the influence; underage drinking while driving; criminal damage; reckless driving; endangerment; driving on a suspende or revoked license; and leaving the scene of an accident.
