Joseph L Lapicca, age 54, was arrested around 8 pm on September 13 while driving through Lake Delton in Wisconsin. He was determined to have a BAC of .37, or nearly 5 times the legal limit. When police looked into his records, they discovered that this was actually Lapicca’s sixth offense. He has admitted to having a drinking problem. This morning his trial finally concluded and he received his sentence: two years in prison, followed by six months in county jail and two years of legal supervision. He has also been issued a $4,000 fine and orders to remain sober once released from prison.
